User Online Plugin

If you’ve been visiting Freelocale for a while, you may have seen the “User Online” page and as well as its widget in sidebar.

Thanks to Lester “GamerZ” Chan for this wonderful plugin, finally we get to see how many users are currently online, as well as other stats such as most numbers of online users a day.

This plugin basically logs all users IPs, and enable you to display how many users are currently online on your Wordpress blog with detailed statistics of where they come from and who they are (Members/Guests/Search Bots).

This plugin classification for user online is : Members are those who registered and logged in to your blog, Guests are those who simply visit it, and Bots are those webcrawlers from Yahoo/Google/MSN, etc.

Another great use of this plugin is that it can show most numbers of user online on a particular day. Which means you get to brag to your friends if your blog had 1000 uniques a day.

Well, this might happen if you promote your site hard and consistent enough, or if you are just too lazy, just set up a post stating that you will pay 10 bucks to anyone who visits your site. Chances are…they will come, oh yes they will, lots of them
